Oh snap! Registration to this event is closed.

The Philippine Pediatric Dental Society, Inc (PPDSI) will be hosting its 29th Annual Convention via Zoom with the theme, "My Ex and Whys: My Experiences and Whys in my Pediatric Dental Practice", on February 28, 2022.

In line with our theme, "Oral Health, Dapat All!", this annual congress continues to strive and address the issues on current inequity in the provision of services and in the structure of oral health care programs. We aim to provide equity for all, since we strongly feel that the special needs individuals receive the least attention and oral care.

In this light, we would like to invite you to be a delegate in this prestigious convention. It will not be the usual webinar, lecture type, but an interactive forum where you get to be part of the discussion. There will not be a single lecturer but a panel of experts and specialists from different related fields.

Panelists and Discussion Topics

Cleft Lip and Palate Patients

The management of cleft lip and palate patients poses some unique challenges which will involve interventions that are multidisciplinary.

As dentists, we need to assume an important role in allowing an environment for optimal growth and development of the oral structures as well as promoting and maintaining good oral health while keeping in mind the timing and integration of dental treatment with other interventions required by other disciplines. This talk-show-type segment will tackle significant matters on how to render optimal treatment to children born with cleft lip and palate. We will hear from the experts of Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation's cleft management team.
