Dr. Tess, as her patients call her, graduated from University of the Philippines, College of Dentistry where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She then pursued post-graduate training in the field of Pediatric Dentistry from the Pediatric Dentistry Center, the accredited training arm of the Philippine Pediatric Dental Society, Inc. (PPDSI) ; she finished her Masters in Family Life and Child Development program from the University of the Philippines; and is now completing her dissertation for her PhD in Oral Sciences degree from the Khon Kaen University in Thailand. She is a Past President of the PPDSI and currently holds a Clinical Assistant Professor position on official study leave from the UP College of Dentistry-Manila.
